Do I need a licence and registration to ride an electric scooter?

Low-speed models capped at 25 km/h need no licence and no RTO registration — anyone can ride them. High-speed models do need both, and we handle the full registration paperwork for you.

How far will one charge take me?

Between 75 and 198 km depending on the model and battery. Tell us your daily running and we will match a model to it.

How long does charging take, and can I charge at home?

Yes — most models charge from an ordinary 5-amp household socket. On many lithium models the battery lifts out, so you can carry it inside and charge it indoors.

Do you service electric vehicles bought somewhere else?

Yes. We service and repair electric two-wheelers of any brand, whether or not you bought the vehicle from us.

Do you sell second-hand electric scooters?

Yes. We buy, sell and exchange pre-owned electric two-wheelers of every brand and budget. Stock changes daily, so message us on WhatsApp and we will send photos of what is on the floor.

Can I replace the battery on my existing scooter?

Yes. We stock lead-acid, lithium-ion and LFP packs in 48V, 60V and 72V for any make, and we will advise which one suits your running free of charge.

Is finance or EMI available?

Yes, with a low down payment. Bring your ID and address proof and we will work out the monthly figure with you at the showroom.

The Sarthana shop that knows electric

Hindustan E-Bike opened in 2019, back when electric two-wheelers were still a novelty in Surat. Under proprietor Mahesh Jasani we've helped families, students and delivery riders across the city move off petrol.

We're an authorised dealer for Joy e-bike, Okaya and Tunwal — genuine vehicles, genuine parts, proper company warranty. And we're still here after the sale, for every service.
